About the team and this role:
Inkle has grown to serve hundreds of the most innovative companies in the world. We’re at the forefront of disruption in our space. And yet we’re still a scrappy startup. The co-founders need help figuring out a lot of internal and external things which are falling through the cracks. We’ve identified a clear need for a new vacancy directly assisting the CTO in the following short-term and long-term focus areas.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Metrics: Take ownership of constructing and maintaining our detailed financials. Keep them constantly updated (historic) and work on the future financials.
  
• Company management and financial bookkeeping accounts: own this and ensure it is fresh every month without fail.
• Attend sales meetings and follow up for conversion.
• End-to-end project management of new product launches.

Who we’re looking for:

• Extreme proactiveness. This is the number one trait we’re looking for. You must be a complete self-starter, and make yourself super busy and just take care of things without being asked.
• Very high attention to detail. This is super important.
• Very good with numbers, metrics, spreadsheets, financial models, formulae and data. No need to code, but certainly just super comfortable with numbers. No need to know all about metrics already, but you must be willing and capable to learn them intimately.
• Working with lots of software - speed is of the essence, and you must be comfortable using AI tools to get even faster.
• Communication is key: you’ll need very strong English (written and spoken) and an absolute willingness to overcommunicate without being asked.
• Working hours: Monday-Friday, based in our Bengaluru office, you’ll work 12pm-9pm IST daily in the office, in order to collaborate with our SF office and customers/partners.
